Adobe Acrobat Introduces AI Features for Editing and Podcast Summaries

San Jose: Adobe has been improving its programs with new AI features. Now, Acrobat has tools to help users edit files and create podcast summaries easily. This is great news for anyone who uses Acrobat for their work.

Last year, Adobe launched Adobe Spaces. This special feature helps users share notes and files with others. Now, users can use the information stored in their Spaces to make presentations just by typing prompts. For example, if a user has important financial data, they can quickly make a pitch deck to show clients how their product is better than others.

With Acrobat’s AI assistant, users first get an editable presentation. Then, they can add designs from Adobe Express’ theme library or use their own pictures. It is also easy to fit their brand’s look on the slides or update each one as needed.

Other tools like Canva and NotebookLM already let users make presentations from documents. Plus, new startups are starting to provide similar services where people can use AI to create presentations.

Adobe is also adding a new feature to help users create podcasts to summarize their files or Spaces. Other tools like Google’s NotebookLM and Speechify allow users to create personalized podcasts using their notes and documents too.

Another interesting update is that Acrobat lets users edit files using prompts now. This includes tasks like removing pages, text, comments, or images. Users can also find and replace words and phrases or add e-signatures and passwords easily.

Acrobat had sharing capabilities with Spaces before. Now, when sharing files, Acrobat provides AI-generated summaries that point to specific parts of the file. Contributors can comment, add, or remove content as they please.

Plus, users can choose a default AI assistant or select other roles like “analyst,” “entertainer,” or “instructor.” They can even create a custom assistant using a prompt. This makes working with Acrobat more helpful and fun!
