Alexa+ and Kindle Scribe Now Work Together With ‘Send to Alexa’

Amazon devices are now connected. Send notes to Alexa directly from your Kindle Scribe. Alexa can summarize your notes, like travel plans or to-do lists.

Alexa+ and Kindle Scribe Now Work Together With ‘Send to Alexa’

San Francisco: Do you use a Kindle Scribe? To share your notes with Alexa+, open the notebook page, tap the share button on top, and choose “Send to Alexa.” Alexa will read your notes and can create easy summaries for you.

You can ask Alexa about your notes. For example, say “Tell me about my Disney trip plan” or “What is on my to-do list?” Alexa will try to answer from the notes you sent.

The summaries are not always perfect. For a Disney plan page, Alexa works well if the writing is clear. For to-do lists, Alexa may mix up some words, especially if you write in cursive. Strong cursive writing makes it harder for an AI to read.

Sometimes Alexa still helps in useful ways. When I asked Alexa to check my packing list for clothes and shoes, it reminded me to bring sunscreen, a charger, and a small backpack. It did not remind me about toothpaste. Still, Alexa created a good start for talking about my plans.
