Linq raises $20M to enable AI assistants to live within messaging apps

Birmingham, Alabama: Linq started as a digital business card tool that helped sales teams collect leads. The company changed directions several times before finding success with its messaging technology.

Linq created an API that lets companies send blue-bubble messages through iMessage instead of green or gray texts. This makes business messages look more like personal texts. Customers including Poke.com use Linq to offer AI assistants that work inside messaging apps without needing separate applications.

The company raised $20 million in funding to grow its team and build new technology. Linq wants to be the foundation that connects businesses with customers across many different messaging platforms, not just iMessage.
