Gun influencers and extremists are defending ice in killing Alex Pretti while attacking immigrants and supporting Kyle Rittenhouse’s actions.

A well-known man who talks about guns online said, “It’s sad Pretti died but he made bad choices.” He told people to listen because what he said next was important. He talked about Pretti going where immigration officers worked. “Pretti broke laws by getting in their way,” Herrera explained. “When people fight officers who have guns, bad things can happen.”
Cody Garrett, another gun influencer, also blamed Pretti. They both said mean things about people coming to America:
“Every news place talks about this sad death but forgets all the drunk drivers who were from other countries,” Herrera said angrily. One attacker mentioned his friend Kyle Rittenhouse again.
Jessica Tarlov asked questions that made people think differently:
“Tarlov wondered on Fox News why one armed teenager is called good but another armed man helping someone is called bad.”
Kyle Rittenhouse spoke on social sites:
“Everyone should know staying calm around police while holding a weapon works better,” Rittenhouse wrote. When he killed people long ago in Kenosha with a military-style rifle, many people came to his defense.
Online groups said Pretti deserved it:
Some say Pretti went to fight and deserved what happened. Certain groups said carrying guns at protests should be allowed no matter what.
