How Search Party works: When someone reports a lost dog in the Ring app, cameras around the area look for matches. If a camera sees a dog that looks like the lost one, it sends an alert. Ring says it helps find more than one dog every day. The person who lost the dog can get video or a message about their pet.
Helping more animals: Ring is giving animal shelters special camera systems. The company will give $1 million to help 4,000 animal shelters in the U.S. This means more lost dogs might get home to their families. Ring works with groups like Petco Love to help even more animals.
