Tesla has filed a lawsuit to overturn California DMV’s ruling that it used deceptive Autopilot marketing.

Tesla, California: Tesla went to court against the California car agency after it said Tesla used wrong words to sell its driving machines. The state agency said Tesla made people think the machines could drive by themselves when they really could not.
Last week, it looked like the problem was over. The agency said Tesla could keep selling cars for now. This happened because Tesla stopped using the word “Autopilot” in its California ads.
The agency could have stopped Tesla from selling cars for one month. Instead, it gave Tesla two months to change the ads. Tesla went further than needed. It stopped using Autopilot completely in January in two countries.
Now Tesla wants to change the agency’s mind. Maybe Tesla wants to use Autopilot again.
