Nvidia CEO Denies Stalled $100B OpenAI Investment Report

New York: Nvidia’s boss, Jensen Huang, said a report about his company having problems with OpenAI is “false.” A newspaper called The Wall Street Journal said Nvidia wants to invest less money in OpenAI after they had planned a big $100 billion deal in September.

The WSJ said Huang is now saying the deal is not final and he has worries about OpenAI’s business plans. But Huang told reporters in Taipei that Nvidia will “definitely” take part in OpenAI’s new money-raising round because “it’s such a good investment.” He believes in OpenAI and thinks they are one of the most important companies today.

Huan said, “We will invest a great deal of money.” But he wouldn’t say how much, telling people to wait and see what OpenAI’s CEO, Sam Altman, announces. The WSJ also said OpenAI wants to raise $100 billion in new money, and big companies like Nvidia, Amazon, and Microsoft are talking about investing.
