Motorola’s Moto Watch combines Polar technology with affordability offering solid fitness tracking despite some GPS and usability issues. A strong budget choice for Android users.
The watch shows you how many minutes you move each day. It also tracks your steps and how many calories you burn. The sleep tracking looks at how long you sleep and how good your sleep is. These features work well with a cheaper Android watch.
I tested this watch against a more expensive fitness tracker on my finger. Most of the time they gave similar results. Sometimes the Moto Watch said I slept a little longer or took more steps. This happens because the Moto Watch has fewer sensors than fancy trackers.
But I have some problems with the watch. The GPS for tracking your runs works slowly and often stops working. This bothers me when I run outside because it cuts out parts of my run. The screen and buttons are also too easy to push by accident. I often found myself accidentally turning the watch off when I didn’t want to.
Even with these problems, the Moto Watch is a good choice if you want something that looks nice and doesn’t cost too much. It works well with Android phones and does most things you need in a fitness watch.
