AI tool OpenClaw reportedly paired with open-source Scrapling software to evade website protections, raising concerns about data scraping

San Francisco: AI tool OpenClaw is being used with software called Scrapling to get around website defenses. People on social media say they are using these tools to take information from websites that try to stop bots.
Scrapling is free software made with Python. It helps OpenClaw users avoid systems like Cloudflare Turnstile. Since it came out, over 200,000 people have downloaded Scrapling.
Companies are trying to stop this. Cloudflare blocked older versions and is working on stopping the newest one. The company says bots tried to break through their protections 416 billion times in less than a year.
Some people tried to make money from this by creating a crypto coin called $Scrapling. But the price dropped fast after people sold their coins. The developer said he did not know this would happen.
Experts say AI agents like OpenClaw are the future of the web. They want to find ways for both people and AI to use websites fairly.
