I Asked Netflix’s Reality TV Boss Why So Many Men On Dating Shows Are Terrible

San Francisco: Brandon Riegg heads Netflix’s reality TV shows. He says many men on dating shows act badly.

Riegg started Netflix’s reality shows ten years ago. He wanted them to feel real. His show Love Is Blind has had 215 million people watch it. It now airs in nine countries.

Some people say the men on Love Is Blind are not good. They compare bad men to Andrew Tate. They say some men like President Trump too much. Some contestants get upset when they think their partner might vote differently than they do.

Riegg says Netflix just picks people from different places. He says sometimes they get more conservative people. Some women on his shows ask men if they voted for Trump. But Riegg says they don’t show that on TV. He thinks it’s hard to find good men for dating no matter what.
